Coming Soon: The AACS State Legislative Intelligence Portal

AACS members will soon have a more powerful way to stay ahead of state legislative activity impacting career schools. The AACS State Legislative Intelligence Portal is a new members-only resource that will transform our current biweekly State Legislative Update from a static email into an interactive, 24/7 legislative intelligence hub.

Instead of waiting for the next update, members will have real-time visibility into legislation across the states and the tools to better understand what it means for your school and your industry.

More Than Just a Legislative Update

Through the new portal, AACS members will be able to:

• Track legislation by state with comprehensive bill details and legislative progress
• Quickly identify high-risk bills that could significantly impact schools or the industry
• Understand the potential impact through overviews and in-depth analysis
• Follow bills as they move through the legislative process
• Subscribe to specific bills and receive email notifications when important developments occur
• Access state-specific advocacy toolkits designed to help you communicate effectively with policymakers

The advocacy toolkits will be an especially valuable new resource, providing state-level data and talking points, including completion, employment, tax, and other relevant information that can help strengthen your conversations and asks with elected officials.

The AACS State Legislative Intelligence Portal will give members access to the information they need, when they need it, allowing you to opt into email alerts for the bills that matter most to you.

AACS will provide tutorials and a member webinar to walk you through the new portal, including how to find legislation, track bills, set up notifications, and make the most of the advocacy resources available.

Additionally, the Scofes & Associates team will present an overview of the new State Legislative Intelligence Portal at AACS Annual Conference, giving attendees a firsthand look at its features.
