Kentucky Court Halt's Biden's Title IX Regulations

Today, U.S. District Judge Danny C. Reeves, chief jurist for the Eastern District of Kentucky, ruled that the current administration’s rewrite of Title IX violated the Constitution. A nationwide moratorium on implementing these regulations is now in effect.

This decision could be appealed by the federal government, but with less than two weeks in the Biden Administration, it is unknown if they will do so. It is unlikely that the incoming Administration would appeal, since they have already issued significant public opposition to these regulations. AACS will keep members informed of any other updates on this issue.
