The Department of Education has reopened the reporting process for debt and other information (debt reporting) until February 18, 2025, due to institutions having trouble completing their reporting by the original deadline. After analyzing data that was received by the Department, it found some common errors and has provided guidance on how to fix those. Schools are not required to submit an explanation of nonreporting at this time, as long as they report by the February 18 filing deadline.
