AACS Welcomes Over 400 Attendees at 2024 Annual Conference during 100th Anniversary Celebration
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On October 25-27, AACS welcomed 445 attendees, exhibitors, speakers, and guests to the 2024 Annual Conference in Houston, held at the Royal Sonesta Houston Galleria.
Keynote speaker Bill Rancic kicked off the conference with an inspirational address on the spirit of entrepreneurship. Over the course of the 3-day event, attendees had access to up to 27 hours of continuing education via breakout sessions and facilitated roundtables with a variety of industry expert speakers. A total of 63 vendor companies joined our bustling exhibit hall to showcase their products and services to attendees.
In addition, attendees enjoyed an exciting 100th Anniversary Gala, which featured a live band, signature cocktails, a variety of desserts, gaming tables, selfie stations, and more! Other aspects of the Annual Conference included an exclusive Owners Dinner and legal update, a silent auction to raise funds for member schools impacted by recent hurricanes, the Annual Business Meeting and board candidate elections, installation of new board members, and the passing of the gavel from past Chair Cathy Koluch to incoming Chair Garrett Shuler. AACS also presented the 2024 Golden School Awards during a special awards luncheon. Ten AACS member school campuses were awarded in nine distinct categories and represent the best of the best among AACS member schools for 2024.
