AACS Government Relations Chair Meets with Congresswoman Virginia Foxx

Congresswoman Virginia Foxx recently attended a luncheon in Manhattan with prominent higher education leaders from career colleges across the United States to discuss education policy and the future of career-focused institutions. 

As the current Chair of the Education and Workforce Committee, Foxx has played a significant role in shaping education and labor policies during her tenure. During the event, participants explored the critical intersections between education, workforce readiness, and how these institutions can continue to play a pivotal role in preparing students for in-demand careers. 

Congresswoman Foxx was thanked whole-heartedly by AACS Government Relations Chair Dana Persico for her leadership and contributions over her years in Congress, and for advancing education policies that support the career college sector and the students that choose lifelong vocational careers.
